How to Manually Adjust the Projectors on a Hitachi TV

Hitachi Ltd. is a Japanese technology manufacturer. One of Hitachi's most well-known products is its line of televisions. Occasionally, users may experience color and focus problems when watching television or movies on a Hitachi TV. Learn how to manually adjust the projectors within the TV to enhance your viewing experience.

• Hitachi TV remote control

Instructions

1. Turn on the Hitachi television set.

2. Press "Menu" on the Hitachi remote control. This launches the TV's menu features.

3. Use the remote control's middle thumb stick to move down the on-screen menus.

4. Select "Video." Use the thumb stick navigator to select each setting. You can manually adjust the projectors to change the TV's brightness, tint, color temperature and color settings. Use the up- and down-arrow keys to manually raise or lower the values for each setting. Press "Exit" on the remote control to save the changes and return to the main setting screen.

5. Press "Color Decoding" on the screen. You can now adjust the color settings of each internal projector to modify the green and red color settings. Select "Auto Color" to have the Hitachi television calibrate itself, or use the arrow keys on the remote control to manually change the values for each to match your personal viewing preferences.

6. Press "Exit" on the remote control twice to save all changes and return to the regular TV screen. Resume watching the movie or television show.
