RuneScape is a popular online adventure game where players interact in a 3D pixelated world. Although the game is very old and not up to the graphical standard of modern games, it retains a number of players since it is playable for free. Character interaction is one of the main features of the game, and trading with other characters is often useful.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Log into RuneScape, and walk your character to the bank. There will be a money icon on your map to show you where the bank is.

  2. Step 2

Click on the banker to open your bank inventory. Withdraw the items or money that you wish to trade by clicking on them.

  3. Step 3

Double check your trade settings by looking at the Trade icon on the bottom of your window, making sure Trade is set to "On." If not, click it until it reads "On."

  4. Step 4

Right-click on another character to open a trade window. You can then drag money or items from your inventory to the trade box on the left, and the person you are trading with can do the same.

  5. Step 5

Review the trade by looking over the items and money that will be exchanged, and then click the "ACCEPT" button to accept the trade. You will see a notification on the bottom of the trade screen informing you of the relative value of the two lots being traded.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you do not want to trade directly with other players, you can still trade money using the Grand Exchange system, described at the link below.
  • Don't accept trades where you are losing a lot of value!
