How to Celebrate Preschool or Kindergarten Graduation with these Party Ideas

Graduation is an achievement to be recognized at any age!

Graduations come at various stages of life. Probably, you are a parent, guardian or close friend to even be looking into this important occasion. For children, Preschool and Kindergarten graduations are celebrated on a lesser scale, unless you are a family that simply loves to celebrate!

   If this is a milestone for your family and it gives you cause to celebrate don't let other peoples traditions stop you. Remember you will be building a tradition that you will have to continue with all your other children ... or risk hearing about it at every Christmas dinner for the rest of your life!

   Consider celebrating with the other children in your preschool or kindergarten class. Offer to host a reception at the school. Prepare punch or fruit juice and a celebration cake that will feed the entire class and their parents. Most Preschool and Kindergarten graduations are held during the day. A celebration just following the ceremony would be very appropriate.

3. 

   If you would like a more elaborate celebration, family and friends could be invited to your home for a barbecue or special dinner. An intimate setting with grandparents and cousin would be a great morale booster and encourage more achievements of the same in the future. Any celebration that makes a youngster feel special and encourages his schooling is a plus. A celebration will make him realize how important his education really is.

   If an elaborate party for Preschool or Kindergarten seems uncomfortable to you and your family then you should follow those feelings. It is still nice to recognized the accomplishment of the child graduating as a means of encouraging his future performance. Taking the family to dinner or ice cream as a special treat or fixing the child's favorite meal would do this nicely.

   Keeping track of these occasions with pictures will help you a lot when the bigger High School graduation occurs. It will be here quicker than you think possible and the Preschool pictures, certificates and graduation song will be a great memory for later down the road.
