When you go to the store and pay with cash more than likely you will receive change back. Put your change in a container such as a coffee cansiter or even a piggy bank. Tell your family members even children to do the same. Months before the vacation, begin rolling the coins so you will have an idea of how much money you have. Cash it in at your bank a few days before the trip. -

Most banks and credit unions offer vacation club savings account. The money is taken directly out of your paycheck or your checking account on a monthly basis. According to where you plan to go on your summer vacation, decide how much you want deposited into the account. $25.00 to $75.00 a month is a good start. If you are married and both spouses work, you can both contribute an equal amount to the account. -
