Things You'll Need:
- Car or Internet Access
-
Step 1
Only buy a game if you plan on playing it multiple times. The only 2 games I own that I play on a regular basis is Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Resident Evil 5. Renting is much cheaper and you don't have to keep that horrid game you paid 60 bucks for on your shelf just to gather dust.
-
Step 2
Blockbuster or other rental places might charge $6-7 dollars for one rental. Just make sure that if your renting for this price that you get 5-6 days to play your game. Who wants another $6-7 late charge for a game you have almost beat?
-
Step 3
Online rental programs are another way to go. Gamefly, Gamerang, Gameznflix, and blockbuster are all companies you can rent from online for a flat rate fee of around $20 a month which includes unlimited rentals. I will warn you though gamefly loses many games in the mail and has really slow shipping speeds. Sometimes you might get your game in 2 days and sometimes it might take a week and a half! Most of these services allow you to buy the game if you would like to keep it.
