Step 1
Check your local Blockbuster. This isn’t the best method to use when it comes to learning how to buy DVD wholesale, but it sometimes will pay off. Renting movies from Blockbuster definitely isn’t the solution for anyone that wants to learn how to buy DVD wholesale, but have you ever wondered what Blockbuster does with all of those used DVDs?
Quite simply, they sell them off at wholesale prices. Not all Blockbusters do this, but ask your local store if they do. Often times the used DVDs will be sold for less than $2, so buying them in wholesale numbers is quite possible. On top of this, you can be rest assured that they’ll be under warranty with Blockbuster for at least 30 days. If anything goes wrong with any of them you can return them and get a brand new disc. Again, check to see if your local Blockbuster does this. -
Step 2
If you’re looking to get a few hundred DVDs in one purchase, a wholesale-specific dealer online is your best bet. One of the best options for this is to find a site like that specializes in wholesale DVDs. Generally you can buy DVDs in packs of anywhere from 50 to as many as 1000 DVDs, and price can vary from $3 to $7.50 depending on how many you buy. Make sure to look for added bonuses like free shipping.

Step 3
The third option you have, and one that’s often forgotten about, is to use Google Shopping – otherwise known as Froogle. A very underutilized aspect of Google, Google Shopping compares prices from innumerable online stores. It’s one of the few places where you can compare Target’s price to Walmart’s price and to millions of other websites out there. To do this for buying DVDs wholesale, just go to Google and search for “DVDs wholesale.” You’ll see the millions of results below, but at the top of the results it will say “Shopping results for wholesale dvds.”
Click that, and the screen that will come up is an entire catalog of wholesale DVDs and their prices. The benefit of this approach is that you can apply any number of filters: you can sort by price, name, or seller, or you can filter only products that are in between price ranges that you specify. It’s perhaps the quickest way to find what you want while also benefiting from the power of Google. If there are low prices on wholesale DVDs out there, Google Shopping will find them. -
Step 4
There are a number of ways to buy DVDs wholesale, you just need to search for them. Just be careful, there are a lot of scammers out there that will sell you fake DVDs. Just be sure to research the company before buying wholesale.

on 5/28/2009 I have been selling dvds for a few years and would like to offer some input. If you are buying dvds to resale on ebay/ or amazon - its tough. Its brutle. If you can locate some used product - thats an easier game.
