Things You'll Need:
- 3 to 4 medium onions
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Tempra Coating

OnionsThe first thing you need to make homemade onion rings is 3 or more medium sized onions (figure one to two onions per person).

Bowl Of Sliced OnionsSlice the onions into round pieces. Cut all of the onions you plan to make and put them into a bowl.

Onion Ring CoatingUse your Tempra coating.

Coating MixtureIn another bowl, mix the Tempra coating according to the directions on the back of the box.

Hot Oil! Be Careful!Put your Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a skillet and begin heating. Make sure the oil is hot.

Coat the Onions.When the oil is ready, dip your onion slices in the batter.

Step 7
Lightly Coat The OnionsLightly shake off excess batter.

Step 8
Carefully Drop the Onion Rings Into the Hot Oil.Drop onion rings in the hot oil carefully. Fry until both sides are golden brown. Remove from heat and place on a napkin covered plate to remove any extra oil.
