How to watch American Idol online

Did you miss American Idol this week? You can watch episodes and clips of the show online. Many TV episodes are available online but first you need to know where to start.

1. Visit the American Idol website. You can watch the most recent episodes and clips from the current season. On the right side of the page are video categories. Here you can choose to watch recaps of recent episodes, behind-the-scenes, and even the archive of videos.

2. Visit the Youtube website. On youtube, you can use the search feature at the top to search for "American Idol." You can specify certain seasons or search for specific contestants. You will find videos similar to those on the American Idol website.

3. Visit iTunes. You will have to pay to download the American Idol episodes but you can view them on your ipod, iphone, or computer at your convenience. To search and download through Itunes, you will have to download the Itunes application on your computer.

4. Visit the CastTV website. There are many other websites similar to this. These sites find videos from all over the web to provide them in one place for you to watch. The website is free for most videos but will require a subscription for others.

Tips & Warnings

• Visit your local cable provider's website. Comcast is a cable company that provides episodes of some television shows online and I'm sure that others do as well.

• Be sure to read any warnings on websites to avoid illegal viewing of videos causing you to have a large fine sent to you.
