How to Store Faxes in the Memory of an Epson All-in-One Printer

To save on desk space and reduce clutter in your home or office you can use an all-in-one machine instead of purchasing separate printers, scanners and fax machines. Like a normal fax machine, an Epson all-in-one printer can store incoming faxes in its internal hard drive's memory so that they can be reprinted at a later time. Most Epson printers automatically store a set number of faxes but you can change that setting by using the menu keys on the machine.

Instructions

    • 1
      The Fax Button

Power on the Epson printer and then press the "Fax" button at the center of the all-in-one's menu console, which will usually be a picture of a phone inside a circle on most Epson models. Press either the "Menu" or "Advanced" button, depending on which model of printer you have.

    • 2

Use the down arrow button to navigate to the "Fax Job Info" selection. Press the right arrow button to bring up the next menu screen. Scroll down to the heading labeled as "Memory Info" and press the right arrow button again. Scroll down to the "Stored" option and press the right arrow key.

    • 3

Use the down arrow to highlight the number of faxes that you want the Epson printer to store before it starts to automatically delete the old stored faxes. Press the right arrow key to confirm the selection.

    • 4

Press the "Fax" button again and navigate back to the "Memory Info" screen. Scroll down and highlight the "Display" option and then press the right arrow key to view the number of faxes that are currently being stored in the Epson printer's memory.

    • 5

Press the "Fax" button a final time and then return to the "Memory Info" menu screen. Scroll down to the "Job" option and then press the right arrow to advance to the next menu screen. Scroll down through the options and locate the number of the stored faxes that you want to print. Press the right arrow key on the number of a stored fax to print it.

Tips & Warnings

  • The total number of faxes that can be stored in the memory of the Epson all-in-one printer will vary from model to model, but most models come with the default setting of saving the last 10 faxes at a time.
