Measure and cut the outdoor fabric to create panels for the front, sides and back of the cabana as well as for the top four sides. Add an additional 2 inches to the measurements so that the fabric can be folded and sewn to the Velcro tape.

Fold the fabric over 1 inch on all edges of the pieces and sew the Velcro tape onto the edges of the folds with a sewing machine. Cut the front panel in half and sew a strip of Velcro on both sides to create an opening for entering and exiting the cabana. Sew a shoelace to each side of the front panels, which will work as tie-backs to hold the panels open. Sew a 5/8-inch hem on the bottom of the panels so they will not hang on the ground.

Attach the fabric panels over the the top and sides of the cabana by overlapping the panels to each other, then pressing the Velcro strips together.
