How to Convert WMA to AAC in iTunes

Windows Media Audio files, or WMA files, can be played on Windows PCs using Windows Media Player. Many people prefer to use iTunes to catalog their music, but it uses the AAC file format. Fortunately, unprotected WMA files can be added to an iTunes library; they just need to be converted first.
