Save your work and close all active programs and games.

End wireless connectivity by holding down the red "End" button for 5 seconds.

Take off the battery door cover.

Remove the battery from the Treo.

Press and hold down the red "End" button for five seconds to drain the memory.

Insert the battery back into the device and replace the battery door.

Wait for the Palm Powered logo screen to appear. The preferences screen will appear and prompt you to enter the time and date.
