How to Restore Recently Deleted Files

It is very frustrating when important documents or files are accidentally deleted on a Windows PC. If your files have been deleted after reformatting due to a hard disk error, the good news is that recently deleted files have a chance of being recovered. To perform this task you need a data recovery program to locate the file path and folders of your deleted files on your PC's hard drive and recover them.

      Download Recuva data recovery program completely free (See Resource Link). Follow the setup and installation instructions.

      Double-click "Recuva " from your Windows desktop or the location that you saved it.

      Select the "Show Wizard" at the setup page. Then click "Next." Select the deleted files you want to recover in the "File Type" section and click "Next."

      Choose the location where your want to search for your files add click "Next."

      Pick the deep scan option, for a more thorough search. This feature could take several hours but has a greater chance of finding your files. Do not select this option if you want to perform a basic search.

      Click "Start" to begin searching for your files. When the search is done, a display window will popup with the search results.

      Select the files you want to recover. Then click the "Recover" button. Select a destination to save them to then click "OK."
