Things You'll Need:

  • Two matching decks of poker cards
  • Poker chips, or money, for betting
  • Poker players

Cheating for one hand of poker

  1. Step 1

Buy two identical decks of poker cards. Only open one deck.

  2. Step 2

Spread the deck of cards face up on a table. Arrange the deck in the order that you want to deal out the cards. You need to know how many people are playing in order to do this.

  3. Step 3

When setting the deck, make sure to give one player a very good hand and to give yourself an even better one. Remember, if there are six players in the game you will get the 6th, 12th, 18th, cards and so on through the deck.

  4. Step 4

After setting up the deck, hide it in your jeans pocket.

  5. Step 5

When you get to the game, let the poker players know that you brought a brand new deck of cards for the game and toss the unopened deck in for the game.

  6. Step 6

When the time is right and it is your deal, bring the stacked deck out of your pocket and deal it. It is important to make the transition from one deck to the other with no one noticing. Practice shuffling a deck of cards and dropping them on your lap while bringing the other deck to the table at the same time. Use your hands in a way to block sight and create distraction.

  7. Step 7

Bet against the other player you set up with a good hand; remember, you gave him a good hand so he will think he has you beat.

  8. Step 8

Bet as high as you can go and collect your winnings.

  9. Step 9

Put the deck of cards from your lap into your pocket. You are done with the deck for the night.

Tips & Warnings
  • Practice before attempting this since it is imperative that you do not get caught.
  • It shouldn't need to be said, but don't try this with people you don't know or at a casino.
