How to Tell When Your Ovulating
Trying to get pregnant is not as easy as they told us in Health class in High School. It can take some work to determine when you are ovulating. In this article I will list some of the easier ways to figure this out that does not include charting your temperature.

One way to chart whether you are ovulating is to go online and use a free ovulation calender. They are so easy to use and only take a minute. I will list some links below for you to try. Keep track of your cycles starting with the day your period started. Write this down each month.

Once you use the online ovulation calendar you will have an idea of when you are ovulating. I would recommend that you purchase some ovulation strips at Target or a pharmacy and start using them on the day that the calender says you may begin ovulation. Remember to test every 10 hours during your fertile time not every 24 hours because you may have a spike that lasts only hours and will not be detected if you test every day. Follow the instructions to the T, this is important.

Another way is to check for cervical mucus. The cervix produces mucus throughout the cycle, but around the time of ovulation the mucus changes to a stringy, clear and egg white consistency. You can find out how to test for this on www.babyhopes.com.
