Step 1
Okay the first step is to turn on your computer, and your internet. Pop open your Internet Explorer, or your Mozilla Foxfire. In the web browser type in www.ebay.com , or just click the link.
Once you get to the home page of E-bay, click on My E-bay tab on the top right in the middle of the tabs. Then you should see sign in, or register button near the bottom of the page. Click on register, if you look at the picture you can see that it’ marked with the red circle. Just click it to continue. -
Step 2
After you click register you should see a page that looks like this. What you want to do is just fill out you information, which is all the fields mark in red. Don’t forget to double check what you typed in, and always you leave nothing blank. This is your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address.
TIP: US is usually always the default country. -
Step 3
Ok now this is usually the step people have a problem with, just do basically the same as before. Fill out all the fields marked with red, don’t leave blanks, and double check what you typed. This time type in your username what ever you want it to be, then type the password you want, then re-type it into the next field as well. On Secret Question, pick from the list in the drop down menu, and click on the one you want. Next type the answer to that question in the box below. Then enter your date of birth.
TIP: Make sure to write all this information down, and make sure to keep it in a safe place (your username, password, and secret question). I know people like saving it in the computer, but you may delete the cookies or cache, meaning you will lose it.
TIP: Click on the button that says to check for the username, that way if it’s not available. If not it will give you some of the options that you can chose from. -
Step 4
This is the part that gets a few people as well sometimes. You have to type in the 6 digit code that it has displayed. Then click on the “I agree” box, after reading the rules, and then click register. I marked all parts you need to make sure is correct in red.

Step 5
Almost done; you should get a screen that looks like this, telling your that they have sent an email to your email address, just to check it. When you get your email from them it will say something like click this link in order to activate your E-bay account. Click on that link, and it will prompt you to log in. It is that simple.
