Making a semi-homemade Banana Cake is easy and it will taste moist and delicious. For those of you who are constantly on a time schedule, this recipe is very simple and you can’t tell it is not 100% homemade. You will need, 2-3 Bananas, 1 box of Betty Crocker Banana Cake mix, 1 cup of Brandy, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoons Butter, 1 can Cream Cheese Icing and a Bunt Cake Pan.

  2. Step 2
    Brandy
    Brandy

First follow directions on back of cake box, beat well for about 2 minutes in mixing bowl. Next slice 2 of the Bananas into small pieces and add to cake mix. Grease Bunt Pan with Butter and set aside. Next add about ½ cup of the brandy to Cake mixture, place mix in Bunt pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until done.

  3. Step 3

Remove from oven; make sure cake is done by using a toothpick, set cake aside to cool for about 45 minutes. After cake is cooled, turn Bunt pan upside down and cake should pop out on to a cake dish. Before you begin icing cake, take the other half of the Brandy and pour it over cake evenly. Next, ice the cake generously. After the icing is finished you can add additional sliced Bananas on the top and on the sides of the cake. Enjoy!
