The Creative Zen Nano Plus is an MP3 player that works similar to a USB flash drive. Unlike many MP3 players, no software is required in order to place songs on the device. In addition to player MP3 files, the Creative Zen Nano Plus has an FM tuner, voice recorder, and is available in 10 colors. The Creative Zen Nano Plus can be installed on Windows Vista and managed through Windows Media Center, if need be.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Connect the Creative Zen Nano Plus to an available USB port on your Windows Vista system.

  2. Step 2

Allow Windows Vista to recognize and install the device. If prompted, connect to the Internet to allow Windows Vista to find the correct driver for the Creative Zen Nano Plus.

  3. Step 3

Wait for the menu to appear asking you what to do with the files on the USB device. This means the device is connected and ready to be used.

  4. Step 4

Add files by opening "My Computer" and selecting the device under "Devices with Removable Storage." Copy files directly into the folder.

  5. Step 5

Open Windows Media Center or Windows Media Player for assistance on renaming files and copying files to your Creative Zen Nano Plus. Once the device is connected, this option will appear under the "File" or "Options" menu.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep all music files in an easy to access folder for quick copying to the Creative Zen Nano Plus folder.
  • Don't delete files from your Vista hard drive after copying to the MP3 player. Should anything happen to your Creative Zen Nano Plus, your files would be lost.
