How to Set Up a USB Wireless Network on Linux

Using a simple wireless USB adapter that installs within minutes to your USB port, connect your Linux system to any unrestricted network with blazing speeds of up to 54mps.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3Com CRUSB10075 Wireless USB adapter
  • Linux computer
  1. Step 1

    Click the drivers download link below (see Resources), and then click the "CRUSB10075 Linux drivers" link on the 3Com page that opens up to download drivers to your Linux system.

  2. Step 2

    Read the terms and agreements, then click the "Accept" button, and then click the "Download Linux Driver" link on the new page.

  3. Step 3

    Follow the setup and installation instructions to install the drivers to your Linux computer.

  4. Step 4

    Plug the 3Com USB wireless adapter to an open port on your computer. It will automatically be detected.

  5. Step 5

    Double click on the "Wireless Client Manager" icon to start your wireless utility through your wireless USB adapter.
