"The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" begins on June 1, 2009, on NBC. If you are in the Los Angeles area and would like free tickets to see a live taping of the show, there are several ways you can go about scoring your tickets. Conan O'Brien tapes Monday through Friday at NBC Studios in Universal City, California.

From Quick Guide: Basics of Tickets
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Fill out the form for advance tickets at the official "Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" website (see Resources). Tickets are free and are first-come, first-serve.

  2. Step 2

Enter a sweepstakes. From time to time, the official "Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" website (see Resources) has a sweepstakes where winners get two tickets to special event shows that are sold out, such as the first-ever show on June 1.

  3. Step 3

Check Craigslist (see Resources). If someone has signed up for tickets but is unable to go, he may offer them on Craigslist.

  4. Step 4

Contact someone on the staff or a guest who will be on the show. If you are in personal contact with a staff member or guest, she may be able to provide you with VIP tickets to certain shows. Do not contact any members of the staff or guests of the show if you do not know them personally.

Tips & Warnings
  • "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" tapes on weekday afternoons.
  • Do not purchase tickets on Craigslist, as the seller most likely got the tickets for free.
