How to Balance Test Magnetic Insoles
Magnetic insoles can offer a number of pain-relieving benefits, if the insoles fit properly. There is more to getting the right insoles than simply matching the insoles to your existing shoe size. By taking special measurements, you can ensure you get perfect-fitting insoles and that you derive the pain relief you seek.

1
Use the tape measure and have another person measure your feet while you are in the standing position: this will allow for the full expansion of your feet when pressed upon by your natural body weight. Take a length and width measurement.
-
2
Put the piece of carbon paper between the two sheets of paper. Stand on the paper; have another person use the pencil and trace around your foot. Cut out the foot shape created. Put the cutout template inside the shoe and walk around for 5 minutes.
-
3
Remove the paper template from the shoe and analyze it; look at where your foot has left imprints on the paper. Many imprints suggest a flatter arch, while a few imprints suggest a higher arch. Get magnetic insole inserts that have 4,300-gauss magnets in the areas where you have the most pressure exhibited in your foot template.

Check to see if you apply a lot of pressure on your heel; if so, get magnetic insoles with heel stabilizers: make sure the magnetic insoles are the exact size of the athletic shoes that you choose. Get magnetic insoles to support the higher-arching area of the foot; little pressure marks will be noted on the template where the foot arches.
-
5
Insert the magnetic insoles into the athletic shoes chosen. Put on a comfortable pair of socks, making sure that they are not too tight and that they do not interrupt circulatory processes.
-
6
Put on the shoes; lace them so that the shoes are secure, but do not overtighten the shoes.
-
7
Walk on a solid, carpetless surface to test the balance of the magnetic insoles and to check for comfort levels. Take a few moments to get used to the feel of the insoles and to see how the insoles affect your balance.

Tips & Warnings
Replace the magnetic insoles at least once every 6 months to ensure that the products can provide considerable support.
Magnetic insoles can cause the foot to sweat more inside the shoe; this may create an environment that encourages fungi growth. Keep fresh socks on with every wear, and clean the interior of the shoe with a bit of baking soda.
