How to Make a Ninja Suit

A ninja costume can be fun for Halloween or any dress-up party. You can even tout your knowledge of history to those you meet while wearing your ninja costume: Ninja's were Japanese warriors trained in the art of assassination in the 15th century.

Things You'll Need

• Black T-shirt (2)
• Black pants
• One yard of hemmed black fabric
• Black plastic knife

Instructions

Making a Ninja Suit

1. Put on the one black shirt and the black pants.

2. Pull the other black T-shirt over your head. Instead of pulling the shirt all the way on, keep the shirt above the shoulders and use the hole in the top of the shirt as the opening for the face.

3. Hold the sleeves out from head and make a knot behind your head. This knot needs to stay secure, so make the knot extra tight, but not tight enough to cut off circulation.

4. Pull the top collar of shirt down over forehead. The key is keeping your face hidden, so you want others to see only your eyes.

5. Pull the bottom part of collar up over your mouth and loosely over your nose. This will hide your identity and allow you to be a ninja.

6. Take the one yard of hemmed black fabric and drape around waist. Sword can be held or placed inside the pocket of the pants.
