Step 1
Launch your Outlook application and select "Import and Export" under File in your top menu bar to activate the Import-Export Wizard.

Select "Export to a file" in the list of actions, and then click the "Next" button.

Select "Microsoft Excel 97-2003" in the list of file types, and then click the "Next" button.

Select your distribution list, which is a subfolder under Contacts, and then click the "Next" button.

Type your file name, click the "Browse" button to select your destination folder and click the "Next" button to proceed.
Press the "OK" button after you select your folder to exit from the Browse dialog box.
Note: The default setting for export is Comma-Delimited Values (CSV) under Settings. -

Check the box next to "Export..." which confirms your selected distribution list and the destination folder.
Click the "Map Custom Fields" button. -
Step 7
Drag the field name in your Outlook contact list (left side) to the default map of field names for Excel on the right. This will take time to complete, but it ensures that the fields correspond.
When you're done matching the fields, click the "OK" button. -
Step 8
Click the "Finish" button in the Export to a File Wizard.

Wait for the export process to complete before verifying that the CSV file was saved to your computer (this process takes time, depending on the size of your distribution list).
Open your CSV file in Excel and go through the File Import Wizard to check that the data fields are mapped accurately.
