How to Use VZ Navigator on a Blackberry

VZ Navigator can be installed on most Verizon-provided Blackberry devices and offers a set of excellent operations.

Visit the VZ Navigator website and click on the "Blackberry" tab on the main page. That link will bring up all of the Blackberry devices available for VZ Navigator use. The link to the website is in the References section.

Call Verizon customer service or visit your local Verizon wireless store and ask to activate the VZ Navigator function for your Blackberry.

Open your Blackberry Browser and open your "Bookmarks" feature. Under your web bookmarks, choose the "Get VZ Navigator" option. Follow the instructions once you click on that link, and the program will install.

Choose the location you would like to visit using the mapping directions icon on the VZ Navigation screen and entering in your destination address using the "Navigation Icon." You can also find Points of Interest if you are looking for a specific type of location such as restaurants, movie theaters, gas stations and other popular locations using the "Local Search" option. VZ Navigator for easy user interaction uses several straightforward options: Navigation, Local Search, My Place and Maps. The picture with this step shows the easy-to-use layout.

Tips & Warnings
VZ Navigator is fairly straightforward. Click on "Navigation" to find driving directions, "Local Search" to find local businesses and other points of interest and "My Places" for your own saved locations. You can also use your Blackberry contacts list to find addresses as needed.
