Instructions

    • 1

Start the engine and allow it to heat up to warm the oil up. This will help it to run out of the engine block easier.

    • 2

Turn the fuel valve off (if there is one) so fuel will not leak out of the carburetor. Open the oil fill spout and tip the snow thrower over, placing an oil catch pan under the oil fill spout. Allow the oil to flow out of the engine into the catch pan.

    • 3

Sit the snow thrower down on the ground and fill the oil pan with new oil. Check the oil level with the provided dipstick to be sure the level is correct.

    • 4

Close and tighten the oil cap when finished filling the oil reservoir.

Tips & Warnings

  • Recycle all used oil. Use the proper oil weight for your area.

  • The oil will be warm or hot when it exits the engine. Do not allow it to burn you.
