Think about the super powers you want your hero to have and determine what weakness your superhero has. Don't create a hero who doesn't have a weakness. Even superheroes must have a vulnerable spot. What will the vulnerable spot of your hero be?

What is your character's origin. This is the important story of how your hero became a hero. How did she acquire powers? What drives your hero to use her powers for good? Who was your hero before she became a hero? This is a good time to think of a name for your superhero.

Sketch your hero. You will need to come up with a costume. Do a rough sketch of your hero first, detailing her size, hair color and other distinguishing characteristics. Once you have the basic look of your superhero, think about designing a costume that will fit your superhero. Be sure the costume you design is suitable to your character's powers and personality. Johnny in the Fantastic Four, for instance, was the human torch. His costume had to be flame resistant.

Design a villain for your superhero. Every hero needs a villain worthy of them. The villain you design should be strong enough to challenge your superhero. Design your villain the same way you designed your superhero.

Write your second story. The first story was your superhero's origin. Now it's time to create a crisis for your new superhero to solve.
