How to Change Your Zwinky Name

Zwinky is a program that downloads itself onto your computer and allows you to create your own avatars and virtual characters. You can change their clothing, and give them pets and different houses. It's a great little program and is fun for kids and teenagers. You can even change your Zwinky user name, but it's not an easy process. There is no up-front option that allows you to change your username.

Instructions

1. Open up your Zwinky download by double-clicking on the Zwinky program on your desktop. Wait for it to load. Sign in to your Zwinky profile with your original name and password.

2. Click on "Edit Profile." This page allows you to edit several features in your profile, but to change your username, proceed to Step 3.

3. Find the F3 button on your keyboard, then find the "C" button on your keyboard. Press "C" and hold it down, and press F3 at the same time. A new Zwinky box appears.

4. Read the options within the box. Find the option that says "Change User Name." Type in your new name and click "OK." Close the box if it doesn't close automatically. You'll be able to change your password here too, if you wish. If not, just change your username.

5. Log out of your profile, and then log back in with your new name and the same password if you didn't change it. You'll need to log in with your new name from now on.
