How to Do Wedding Hairdos

Anyone who's ever been a bridesmaid knows the pain or pleasure of having a good hair day on the day of the big event. While many bridal parties choose to have a professional hair stylist do the hair of everyone in the wedding party, there are many options for lovely hair styles that can be done in the hours before the wedding takes place.

      • 6

Curl the rest of the hair as desired.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Many wedding parties choose to use a single unifying hair ornament, but each bridesmaid's hair style is unique. Practice hair style with at least two different hair product routines to see which works best for different hair types. If you're unsure of your own ability to do your own hair, ask friends or relatives. In almost all groups, there's at least one girl or guy who isn't afraid of a rat tail comb and knows how to use it.

    • Try out a new or different hair style before the day of the big event. Be prepared to have a towel or other shield to prevent excess hair spray from falling on bridesmaids' dresses.
