Things You'll Need:
- window cleaning solution
- water
- razor blade

Step 1
The first step to remove a paint speck from glass is to clean the glass with a window-cleaning solution and water. Either use a spray bottle to spray the solution on the glass or use a sponge and dip it in the window-cleaning solution and water. The reason you want to wash the glass first is because if the glass is slippery, then the razor blade won't catch on the glass and scratch it.

Step 2
The second step to remove a paint speck from glass is to examine your razor blade for any imperfections. It's best to use a brand new razor blade, but if you can't get a new one then at least make sure the blade is still straight.
-
Step 3
The next step to remove a paint speck from glass is to test the razor blade. If you are trying to get rid of a speck of paint on a window, then it's probably right in the middle a window pane where everybody is going to see it. Before attempting to scrape the paint speck off you might want to find the bottom corner of the window, where people won't notice a mark, and test the razor blade on the glass to see if the razor blade scratches the glass. If you want your glass to be completely perfect, then you might not want to try this, but isn't it better to test it in the corner and end up with a scratch there then try to scrape off the paint in the middle of the window and put a scratch there instead?

Step 4
The next step to remove a paint speck from glass is to use the razor blade to scratch off the paint. When scraping a speck of paint off of glass, you want to just scrape once, then lift the razor off the glass. Then scrape again. Only scrape one stroke at a time. If you just put the razor blade to the glass and start scratching back in forth like a with scratch-and-sniff sticker, then you're definitely going to scratch up the glass.

Step 5
The final step to remove a paint speck from glass is to use the window cleaning solution to wash down the window again after scraping off the paint speck.
