Instructions

    • 1

Sketch out your design. Trace the candy bar onto the piece of paper, then sketch out the design that you would like on the candy bar. Write any words that you like, such as names or "I love you." Then add any other accents, such as flowers, hearts or plain trim. Color in the design so that you will remember what colors you want.

    • 2

Stick your candy bar to the platter. Use a smear of icing to stick it in place.

    • 3

Fill in your design on the candy bar. Start with any fine lines, like the words. Generally these will be written with a plain round icing tip and in cursive. Then, you can start accenting and decorating. Follow your design. If you drew flowers, then you can draw them with the simple round tube or make them with a star tip that makes round, textured dots. Use different colors of icing if you like, remembering to fully rinse out your tube before moving from color to color.

    • 4

Add silver bead accents. Use the craft tweezers to place them inside the flowers or at the tops or bottoms of letters.

    • 5

Sprinkle the entire work with the opalescent glitter sprinkles. Do this immediately so that they will adhere to the icing. This will give your entire work a beautiful, edible sheen.
