How to Pre-Cleanse Before a Colon Cleanse

  1. Step 1

Do not eat any processed foods for at least 4 to 7 days before the cleansing. Processed foods will deliver unnecessary chemicals into the system and make it more difficult for the colon cleansing product to work efficiently.

  2. Step 2

Drink at least 64 to 80 oz. of water daily at least a week before the cleansing procedure and up to the day before in order to flush the system and prepare for the cleansing.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle some oats or other whole grains on your food for extra fiber at every opportunity. In addition, eat most of your fruits and vegetables raw to help your bowels perform more efficiently when you take the cleansing product.

  4. Step 4

Do not drink alcohol in the week before your colon cleansing.

  5. Step 5

At least 2 days before the colon cleansing attempt to get most of your nutrition from vegetables and fruits that are liquefied. Mix foods and drinks in a food processor or blender for nourishing and nutritious raw food drinks.
