How to Change the Battery in a Volkswagen Car Key

If the battery in your Volkswagen car key dies, you have two options. You can take the key to a Volkswagen dealer or you can replace the battery yourself. The latter can be a little tricky because the manufacturer would prefer that you go back to the dealership. However, the do-it-yourself route is quicker and less expensive.
