Step 1
What interests you? What are you good at? Do you like creating things? Architecture or Engineering may be for you. Interested in the government or FBI? Criminal Justice may be something to look into. Either way, make a list of your interests. That's a starting point.

Step 2
Find out what type of classes you'll have to take for your possible majors. Most people choose a major and then once they experience the classes required, they realize they aren't in the major for them. You don't want that.

Step 3
What's more important to you-- money or doing something you love? If possible, try to find a major that satisfies both, but if not, you may have to choose based on that question.
