Anyone can make a smoothie with a blender and simple ingredients. A smoothie is more than just blended fruit. Any smoothie will require some kind of extra liquid or powder to smooth out the fruit. Some common extras are milk, soy milk, chocolate milk, juices, plain yogurt and honey. Each one can change the taste and health value of a smoothie.
