Try chicken as a snack. Normally most of us wouldn't think of chicken as a snack choice but a mere 2 ounces will offer about 38 grams of protein and only 80 calories. Try those pre-baked chicken strips (such as Perdue) which are ready to eat and leaves it easy to grab without having the mess or the cooking. Another chicken option could be a 3 oz can of white meat chicken which is about 14 grams of protein but only 70 calories.

Another smart snack for better weight loss would be choosing a low fat cottage cheese. For a quick snack you can buy cottage cheese in a 4 pack in most supermarkets which makes it easy to throw in your bag for an on-the-go choice. Another good choice is 2 string cheese sticks.

Smearing one tablespoon of peanut butter on a half of an apple will give you a sweet snack but the peanut butter has enough protein to keep you feeling satisfied.
