How to Plan Your Wedding and save Money

This article will help you save Money Planning your wedding . When planning your own wedding you have to do a little more work than you would hiring a wedding planner , But you are also more mindful of Pricing .

   First I would find your wedding location . While doing this keep in mind your reception location as well . You don't want them to far from each other . There are usually many locations out side of the norm . Some are free and others may require a small payment . Ex: My wedding was at The Blowing Rock Preserve in Tequesta Florida . All the required was a $100 donation to there Nature Conservancy .

2. For your Reception areas , I suggest looking into Community Centers and Halls . Most communities have some sort of center , some are free others may require a deposit( usually pretty small ) .

3. The food is always a huge deal . Catering can get expensive , Keep in mind most caterers rent the silverware , plates and , ect.. . Most of the time they charge this per person pretty small by its self, but When you add it on top of the meal per person price and drink per person it can get steep . I suggest doing whatever you can yourself. There is plastic silverware that looks just like silver , as well as plastic dishware that looks like china ( very cheap and you just throw it away when the meal is done ) .See the above picture , It was the Head table .

4. The Wedding Officiant is another area that needs some discusion . If you are doing a church wedding that is a given of who will perform your ceromoney .The least exspensive rout is to get a notary republic to do your ceromony , you get to chose what they will say during the ceromony , There are always several options on which way you can go though you can search the internet or check in you community for a Wedding Officiant .

   Beach Theme

   Another area you can save money in is the Decorations and Invites . Your decorations is easy to do it just depends on how elaborate you want as well as your wedding style . I went with a Beach Theme very inexspensive and it was fun to do .( see picture ) You can save money on making your own invites . You can get very creative in this area. There are som many diffrent computer programs to help you with this .Lastly there is the Dress code if you want the Extravagent gown with tuxedo with tails it can get pricey. It all depends on you own personal

6. Lastly there is the Wedding Apparel . If you prefer the Extravagent gown with Tuxedo with tails it can get pricey. It all depends on you own personal style . There are so many diffrent ways to save in this area . Check your local malls and clothing stores . You can put together a great outfit for next to nothing , Again it all depends on what you want .

• Always meet with anyone your going to hire .
• Make sure you ask questions .
• Know what you getting for your money .
• Never make any payments without meeting with anyone .
• Never sign any documents until your sure its what you want .
• If your doing it yourself, Don't set your date till you have you locations reserved . It is a big help .
