Things You'll Need:
- sink
- hand soap
-
Step 1
Make sure that your bathroom sink is clean and empty. Plug the drain and begin to fill it up with cool water.
-
Step 2
Add a few squirts of the hand soap that you probably keep on your sink anyways. (You can use any soap you like, I've used hand soap for years and it works very well and is extremely economical) Swirl the soap into the water a bit to create some bubbles and finish filling up the sink.
-
Step 3
Place your dirty bras in the sink. I usually wash about 4 or 5 at once using this method. Push the bras down into the water to make sure that everything gets wet.
-
Step 4
Let the bras soak while you tend to other matters. I leave them in the sink for about a half hour.
-
Step 5
Drain the sink, and run each bra under cool water to remove the soap. Replace the plug and refill the sink. Allow the bras to sit in the sink again for about 10 minutes. Now, drain the sink again and run each bra under cool water a second time, this should ensure that all of the soap is rinsed away.
-
Step 6
Hang the bras up to air dry. The high heat of your dryer can damage your bras, so it's best to let them drip dry. Hang them in your shower or over your bath tub to minimize mess.
