Things You'll Need:
- Flour
- Baking Powder
- Butter
- Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Egg
- Peanut Butter
-
Step 1
Sift 1 ¼ cups of flour with ¾ tsp of baking powder three times. Cream the butter and both of the sugars until it is soft and blended well (not fluffy).
-
Step 2
Add the egg (beaten slightly) and ½ cup of peanut butter, mix thoroughly; then add 1 ¼ cups of flour. Knead only long enough to form a smooth dough.
-
Step 3
Divide the dough into two parts and then roll each part into a roll about one inch in diameter. Cut the peanut butter dough into one-inch pieces.
-
Step 4
Place the pieces cut-side down and one inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet; press with the tip of a fork to form crisscrosses on top.
-
Step 5
You can also just roll each piece in the palm of your hand to form a ball instead of the crisscross way if you don’t want it like that way.
Bake them in a 350 degree preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.Enjoy!!
