Butter is a decadent condiment to spread on bread or melt over vegetables. Make your meal even more exciting with spicy chili garlic flavored butter. Easy to make, this spicy spread will put a zing in your meal

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Salted butter stick
  • Chili powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Glass bowl
  • Spoon
  1. Step 1

Remove a stick of salted butter from the fridge and let it sit out on the counter until it is soft. You may use more butter or less if you wish. Simply adjust the amounts of the other ingredients as well. If your butter will not soften on the counter, put it in the microwave or a pot for a very short period of time until it is just soft. You do not want it totally melted.

  2. Step 2

Put the butter in a glass or ceramic bowl and add half a teaspoon each of chili powder and garlic powder. Also add a quarter teaspoon of paprika to the mix. You can add more or less depending on your personal taste.

  3. Step 3

Use the back of a large spoon or even a potato masher to mix the spices together with the softened butter. Put the butter mixture in a small glass bowl or other container with a wide mouth and put it in the fridge. You could also scoop it into a foil muffin paper and allow it to solidify into a cylindrical brick. This makes it easier to serve on a small plate when you want to eat it.
