Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your Panasonic TV, then unplug the AC power cord and let the unit cool down for at least 30 minutes.

    • 2

Locate the lamp unit. Depending on your Panasonic model, it could be located on the back of your TV or under the front panel. Use your manual to locate it. Remove the screws holding it, then pull it out. Use your manual to properly remove this unit depending on your TV model.

    • 3

Flip over your the lamp unit once you have it removed from your TV. On the bottom where there is a metal side casting, use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding it in place. Use a long Phillips screwdriver, because the screws are deep in the metal side casting.

    • 4

Pull the metal casting out once all the screws have been removed. You should now see the bulb on a plastic enclosure. Remove the two metal pieces holding the bulb, but do not throw them away.

    • 5

Remove the two metal screws holding the lamp connector, then pull them off and remove the old bulb from the plastic enclosure.

    • 6

Place the new bulb into the plastic enclosure where the old bulb was, then replace the two metals clips and bypass them back for extra security, and prevent them from touching each other.

    • 7

Place lamp connectors back, then place the screws back securely. Place the metal side casting back over the lamp, then tighten the screws.

    • 8

Replace the newly installed lamp unit in your TV the same way that you removed it. Use your manual since this varies depending on your Panasonic TV model.
