4. Buttons, eyelets, snaps, ribbon bows, sequins and any small sewing items can be stored in Styrofoam egg cartons.

5. Small children love to collect pretty stones. The cartons make a good place for him to keep them, instead of having the stones scattered all over the playroom or bedroom. He can also store glass marbles inside.

6. Probably the most popular way to use Styrofoam egg cartons is as seed starters. Before planting the seeds, poke a few holes in each holder with a sewing needle for drainage. Set the egg cartons on an old baking sheet and get planting those vegetable and flower seeds!
