    Philadelphia Pennsylvania is a place that served significance during times of the Revolution. If you are planning on visiting Philadelphia on the Fourth of July, there are several celebrations taking place throughout the city.

    Every Fourth of July an extraordinary firework display takes place at Penn’s Landing. In addition to the fine firework display, food and a variety of music makes the evening an unforgettable moment. Also, an all you can eat ice cream festival will be held on the Parkway beginning in the early afternoon.

    If you are planning on staying in Philadelphia for more than one day, there are other sites you may want to visit. The Liberty Bell is located in downtown Philadelphia and has quite a history behind it. In addition, the Betsy Ross House is within close proximity of the Liberty Bell and people have been touring this historic home for centuries. For those of you who like boat rides, boat rides on the Delaware will be taking place all day on the Fourth. There is a charge for the boat ride and tickets can be purchased on that day.

    Philadelphia has an abundance of fine restaurants and hotels. In addition, there is a shopping gallery located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia on Market Street.
