Realize that we do not have to eat for fun, we only need to eat for energy and once we eat more than we need that is when it turns into fat.

Spot-onEat a more balanced meal, a little from each food pyramid group.

Eat in variety; eat fruits & vegetables from all different color groups.

Cut sweets-such as cake, candy, cookies ect out of your diet, however do not deprive yourself allow yourself to eat them moderately.Cut out condiments they add calories.

Keep a daily journal and record everything you ate for the day.
Set goals for yourself start small and once you completed one set a new one. -
Step 6
Eat off smaller size plates so that it looks like your getting more. When making your dinner plate, fill it up with mostly vegetables so that there is less room for the other stuff, this way you are eating more (of the healthier stuff)vegetables'.Do not finish everything on your plate leave some
