1. There are many reasons that you might fear going to your churches confession. The first thing you might want to do is ask yourself why you are afraid. If you don't know why your afraid of going you won't be able to overcome it.

2. The second thing a faithful christian might want to do is pray. Prayer is a very powerful thing as I'm sure you already know. Ask God to calm your soul. Ask god for the strength to overcome your fear of confession.

3. Talk to the priest about your fears. You don't have to confess your sins right now. Just sit down and talk to him about how you are afraid of confession. Make a list of your reasons and discuss them with him. Don't worry about being embarrassed. He is there to help you and guide you to becoming a better person.

4. The next and final step is pretty simple. Sometimes you just have to face your fears and do it. I know your scared but believe in yourself and in god that is will be okay. After your confession you will most likely feel relieved and wondering why you were afraid to begin with.
