A French design, Girl's room

For sure girls prefer different themes than boys. The best is to ask your girl what she likes or dislikes. For smaller girls a princess or castle theme is really nice but also beach themes are adding additional space to the room. You can get this design as a mural which you can do yourself or find the right wall paper or stencils. But let me show you this decorating idea first.

The French Girl's Room - Paris theme
The Girl's French room has many elements and a dominating color is pink. A poodle was absolutely a must.

On the wall I painted a bag with he famous o-la-la poodle theme. The background: Around the bag whimsical roses and whirls in charcoal black.

  3. Step 3
    Bonjour, hand painted

Over the wardrobe we decided to have some typical French phrases and "Bonjour mon ami" which means "Hi, my friend", seemed to match the whole theme.

  4. Step 4
    Eiffel tower, French make-up

Of course the Eiffel tower should not be missing! We placed it next to the bed. Over the bed there is the French Set: facial powder with a brush, nail varnish and a lipstick, surrounded by whimsical roses and whirls.

Tips & Warnings
  • For such a hand painted mural you might need to hire a mural painter as you need some basic artistic talent. If you cannot hire someone check out wallpaper murals and stencils.
