How to Make Return Address Labels in Works

Microsoft Works is a suite of office software that is included with the Microsoft Windows operating system. Works contains a word processor, a spreadsheet and a database program that are suitable for most routine household application. Address labels are fairly easy to make in Works using the word processor program. Return address labels are even easier, as Works allows you to enter the address once and then it automatically fills the whole sheet with the same data.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the Microsoft Works word processor and click "Tools" on the menu bar and then click "Labels..."

    • 2

Activate the radio button beside "Return address labels" and click "OK."

    • 3

Choose the manufacturer and product number for the labels you are printing. The product number is usually clearly displayed on the label packaging. Click "New Document."

    • 4

Type in your return address in the first label on the sheet displayed. The rest of the labels will be grayed out and should be left blank. The other labels will be filled in automatically by Works even though they appear blank in this view.
