Gather your materials. Use scissors to snip out a piece of wax paper that is as long as the comb.

Double the wax paper over the side of the comb that has the teeth in it. Make sure that the paper covers both sides evenly, and that the wax coated side is on the inside.

Grasp the harmonica firmly in your hands, making sure that the wax paper stays in place. Angle the harmonica so that the paper points up.

Put the harmonica to your mouth, and hum into the paper to produce sounds.
