Step 1
Comb & Brushing HairAvoid vigorous combing or brushing your chemically treated hair.
Be gentle and check your comb or brush for hair loss. If you notice more hair coming out than usual your hair maybe damaged due to the chemical process. -
Step 2
When combing and brushing chemical processed hair daily, use a light
spray of vitamin treatments, this will help add the necessary moisture and help to keep your chemically processed hair in a healthy state. -
Step 3
Detangling CombNever comb tangled or knotted hair without lubricating it. Detangle slowly
starting at the ends and work your way up through the middle of each
strand and then to the roots. -
Step 4
Trim HairIf your hair is damaged trim it back and let the healthy hair grow out. Keeping the damaged hair can damage the healthy hair. (Trim your hair on a regular basis whenever you have a perm applied.)
-
Step 5
Regular maintenance is important that includes touch ups, which is required every six to eight weeks to keep the hair straight ( especially around the edges).
