Comfort is given when a person is grieving, sad, depress, or mad. Knowing how to comfort someone helps them deal with the situation. Also comforting them tells them your going to be there for them.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Be ready to hold and protect them.
  • Be ready to listen to what they have to say.
  • Be there with open arms to hug them.
  1. Step 1

    Be ready with open arms and ears to listen to the situation. Showing that you care and will be there for them helps them deal with the issue. While some problems a person should deal on there own, comforting them gives them the strength to deal with the problem.

  2. Step 2

    Come in close and hold them tightly not letting go, shows that your protecting them. Advice shouldn't be given yet unless asked upon. Holding there head on your shoulders or chest, while having your hand on the back of there head guides them. Giving an ease feeling of your beating heart gives a soothing in rhythm.

  3. Step 3

    Ask what you can do in this situation to help them deal with the problem. Try your best to coupe with there problem, even with any help its better to something rather then nothing. Be the shoulder to cry on and the person she/he can come to.
