Smear a thin coating of toothpaste over the permanent magic marker stain.

Allow to stand for 15 minutes.

Scrub gently, using the scrubber side of a damp sponge.

Wipe the toothpaste residue off of the wooden surface. The magic marker stain will be gone.

Rinse with a clean, damp sponge until all toothpaste residue is gone.
